TEACHING EXPERIENCE

2019-2024               Teaching Assistant in various courses at Yale University;  Syntax I (fall 219, fall 2020), Historical Linguistics (spring 2020), Cognitive Science of Language (spring 2021, spring 2023) and Introduction to Linguistics (spring 2023) and a course on Beinecke MS 408 (spring 2024).

Fall 2019       Language Partner – Directed Independent Language Study (DILS). A Program run by Center for Language Study at Yale University. Intended for students who whish to learn a foreign language that is currently not taught at Yale. I taught introduction to Modern Icelandic.

2019-                  Digital Editing and the Medieval Manuscript Roll. A co-taught workshop run by students at Yale University, occasionally held at other universities. My responsibilities have included introduction to XML, introduction to TEI and a practical section on how to use Oxygen.

Spring 2017    Teacher at Handelsschool Aalst: Icelandic (level 3).

Spring 2016   Teaching Assistant in the course Scandinavische taalkunde: Oudnoors en taalgeschiedenis [Scandinavian linguistics: Old Norse and language history] at Ghent University. I taught a class on sound changes in the Scandinavian languages, on medieval Icelandic literature and a class on morphological changes in the Scandinavian languages.
